AUG. 20

Weapon. Officers responded to the 2400 block of 161st Avenue NW. on a report of a male shooting a firearm while standing on the roof of a vehicle. The 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of an unlawful suppressor (commonly known as a silencer) and reckless discharge of a firearm.

BLAINE

AUG. 16

Theft. A 2016 Harley Davidson Street Bob motorcycle was stolen from a garage on the 100 block of 98th Avenue NE.

Falcon Heights

AUG. 24

Traffic. Officers warned a driver in the area of Larpenteur and Snelling avenues for making an illegal turn on a red light.

AUG. 25

Property damage. A driver reported that his windshield was shattered by occupant of stopped vehicle near Roselawn Avenue and Tatum Street. The driver told police he had been involved in an altercation with people in the vehicle before the incident.

FRIDLEY

AUG. 27

Assist public. Officers responded to an apartment on the 100 block of 83rd Avenue NE. on a report of two people arguing over who should get the bed when they separate. Officers mediated the situation and one party agreed to leave for the night.

Lake Elmo

AUG. 24

Suspicious situation. Someone reported what they thought might be cases of ammunition being loaded from a Fed Ex truck into a vehicle on the side of the road in the area of Keats Avenue and 47th Street. Authorities determined it was cases of oil.

Mounds View

AUG. 21

Weapon. Officers responded to the 2800 block of County Road H2 on a report of a male with a gun. A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of a pistol.

New Brighton

AUG. 25

Theft. Extensive damage to a vehicle was reported after copper wiring connecting to the battery was removed in the 500 block of County Road D.

NEWPORT

AUG. 22

Suspicious activity. A person in the 1500 block of Bluestem Lane who asked for "lockout help" for their mother's vehicle canceled when they were informed they needed to sign a release form.

OAK GROVE

AUG. 20

Theft. A shotgun and tools were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 19800 block of Heather Street NW.

RAMSEY

AUG. 13

Medical. Officers responded to the 16300 block of Azurite Street NW. on a report of a 20-year-old man having a reaction after smoking marijuana. He was taken to the hospital.

AUG. 14

Suspicious vehicle. A resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked outside her home on the on the 7900 block of 161st Avenue NW. Officers spoke to the driver who said he was playing Pokemon.

Animal complaint. An officer responded to 157th Avenue NW. and Variolite Street NW. on a report of two turkeys fighting in the street. The officer honked his air-horn a few times and they quit fighting and walked away.
