North Dakota shuts out SCSU • NORTH DAKOTA 3, ST. CLOUD STATE 0: UND scored goals in the opening minute of the first and second periods in beating the Huskies. Brendan O'Donnell scored 48 seconds into the game for North Dakota and Carter Rowney scored 43 seconds into the middle period. Mark MacMillan scored shorthanded at 17:33 of the final period to make it 3-0. Junior Clarke Saunders made 32 saves for his shutout. North Dakota had been 0-6-4 on Fridays in its past 10 visits to St. Cloud.

• DENVER 4, MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 3: The Pioneers took a 3-0 lead early in the second period but needed Daniel Doremus' goal 14 minutes into the third period to win the game. The visiting Mavericks cut Denver's lead to 3-2 late in the middle period on goals 1:33 apart by J.P. Lafontaine and Eriah Hayes. After Doremus scored, MSU got within one goal again on Lafontaine's second goal with 1:51 to play.

• COLORADO COLLEGE 3, BEMIDJI STATE 2: Rylan Schwartz's second goal of the game, with 3:41 left in the second period, was the game-winner for the Tigers. Jordan George and Danny Mattson had goals for the Beavers in the second period.
