The July 21 date has been set for months, and this morning the gargantuan lineup was finally confirmed for the local installment of the Vans Warped Tour, returning once again to the Canterbury Park grounds on its 19th annual go-round. Metallic heavy-hitters Chiodos, Silverstein, the Black Dahlia Murder and August Burns Red top out the bill alongside local darlings Motion City Soundtrack, Kansas indie-rap stalwart Mac Lethal, ska-punk vets Reel Big Fish and poppier bands such as Hawthorne Heights, the Summer Set, Go Radio and even the Disney-bred Allstar Weekend.

Motion City, by the way, will be performing its Warped dates without drummer Tony Thaxton, who announced his departure in a spirited farewell posting on the band's website. "Being on the road so much was really starting to take its toll on me," he said.

Tickets for the big-day-out go on sale Friday at 11 a.m. for $37.50 through Ticketweb.com, 866-468-3401 or in-person at any Down in the Valley store. The price will go up to $45 on the day of the show.
