Four members of a family were injured Saturday morning in a house explosion in Tracy, a small town in southwestern Minnesota.

When members of the Tracy Fire Department arrived at the house in a residential area near the center of town just after 9 a.m., it was fully engulfed in flames, said Fire Chief Dale Johnson III. The Marshall Independent reported that a mother and her three daughters were taken to the Sanford Tracy Medical Center, then airlifted to another hospital.

Witnesses say the woman ran outside with her 2- year-old daughter while her 7-year-old daughter ran out a side door. But a 2-month-old baby was still in her crib inside, and a man who lives across the street raced in the house to save her, KARE-TV, Channel 11, reported.

Tracy is about 160 miles southwest of the Twin Cities.
