If you don't live in a select number of states, don't bother trying to get tickets to the NFC Championship Game this year. Tickets for the game in Seattle against San Francisco will go on sale at noon (Central) today, but everyone from Minnesotans to -- more importantly -- Californians will be shut out of the process, according to an item on the Seahawks' web site.

Tickets are only available to fans with billing addresses in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii, British Columbia and Alberta.

That's one way to keep your "12th Man" fan advantage, we suppose, though it's also rough if you happen to be a Seattle fan living somewhere other than those six states or two provinces.

What do you think? If the Vikings banned fans from Wisconsin from buying tickets to a game against the Packers -- or vice-versa -- would that be fair?
