Krista Flugstad, who took the loss for the 25th-ranked Wildcats in the championship game, worked two innings for the save, striking out Dana Connelly looking to end it.

Gusties repeat in MIAC tennis

The Gustavus men's tennis team won its sixth consecutive MIAC championship with a 5-0 victory over Carleton in St. Peter, Minn.

Sunday's championship match featured the only two teams to hoist the MIAC Playoff championship plaque. Gustavus won the first three from 2007 to '09 before the Knights (17-8) interrupted the streak by winning the 2010 title. The Gusties reclaimed the title in 2011.
