Minnesotans, like the rest of the country, will pause today to remember the devastation of 11 years ago. Duluth has a service at noon. Marshall, which opened a 9/11 memorial a year ago, will host an 11:30 prayer service. ________________________ Fire risk remains high today throughout Minnesota, with scorching temperatures and high winds expected. Firefighters continued to battle an estimated 400 acre fire east of Red Lake Tuesday morning. The Star Tribune will monitor the situation throughout the day. ________________________ A fire that consumed the Renville County Food Shelf Sunday in downtown Olivia has been ruled arson. The building also held a hair salon, local American Red Cross office and an apartment. No one was injured in the blaze. Check the West Central Tribune in Willmar for the latest. ________________________ Duluth City Council snuffed out more smoking in public places. The new areas with smoking bans include Lakewalk, Lake Place and Leif Erickson park. The Duluth News Tribune has the full report. ________________________ Albert Lea, which has been giving Marion Ross love since she played Mrs. Cunningham on "Happy Days," is getting a little love in return as the former TV star will return to her hometown next summer for opening night of the local theater's production of – you guessed it – "Happy Days, a New Musical." Albert Lea Community Theatre will open the show July 10 at the, ahem, Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, the Albert Lea Tribune reports.
