A Minneapolis attorney has received a public reprimand and been placed on supervised probation for two years for professional misconduct. The measures were ordered this week by the state Supreme Court.
Thomas L. Owens neglected a client matter, failed to communicate to a client and failed to respond to telephone calls from a former client's attorney, according to a disciplinary petition filed by the state's Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility.
He will be supervised by a licensed attorney to monitor compliance of his probation.
