Check out my gamer and notebook from Minnesota United's 3-1 loss to New York City FC on Thursday at Yankee Stadium.

Now for a few tidbits. Midfielder Sam Cronin landed awkwardly on his right shoulder in the second half of the match. And while he still continued on, coach Adrian Heath said the midfielder had an X-ray after the match.

Cronin said his shoulder ""popped out and then popped back in," but he'll be "fine."

United plays again 6 p.m. Tuesday against the Columbus Crew SC at TCF Bank Stadium, and with injuries and national team duty, the team might have just one available center-back. Heath said in response to if Cronin could play that position that the coach will have to look and see who is able to play Tuesday before he makes that choice.

Also, I had this fun quote from Heath about Yankee Stadium that I never had a chance to use, so here it is now.

"I was suspended when [former team Orlando City SC] went there the first year, so I watched it upstairs in the box and had an hour just to walk around," Heath said. "And it was pretty cool, even for an English guy, that you see all the original pictures of the likes of [Frank] Sinatra and people like that who have actually been in the stadium. The likes of Marilyn Monroe and all that. So it's pretty unique, and as I say, I enjoy going there."
