A man was fatally shot Thursday night and found in a vehicle at 42nd and Fremont Avenues North in Minneapolis, police said.
Minneapolis police officers responded to a 911 call around 11 p.m. When they arrived, they found the man in a vehicle that was parked on the side of the street. He had been shot and was dead at the scene.
No one was in custody as of midnight, police said. The department's homicide unit is investigating. The identity of the victim has not been released.
