Authorities on Wednesday identified the man who was fatally struck by a Northstar commuter train while walking along the tracks northwest of the Twin Cities.
Robert Borowick, 51, of Blaine, was hit in Big Lake Township late Monday afternoon by the northbound train, according to the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office.
The incident occurred north of the intersection at 192nd Av. NW and Zebulon St., west of Elk River.
No one was hurt on the train, and passengers were put on other trains and buses to get to their destinations.
