Authorities on Thursday released the identity of a man who was hit by a minivan while walking on an Anoka County highway after dark this week.
Ronald Lang, 59, of Forest Lake, was struck on Hwy. 65 at 81st Avenue NE. shortly after 8 p.m. Monday, according to the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office.
The Sheriff's Office said Lang was heading north in the southbound lanes and wearing dark clothing when the vehicle hit him.
The driver, Ashley N. Bowden, 30, of Fridley, suffered minor injuries. She has not been cited.
The investigation into the crash continues.
