WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. — Police say a man was arrested at a Connecticut airport after telling security agents that he had a bomb.

Connecticut State Police say 26-year-old Jordan Rickard of Charlotte, N.C., was going through security Monday afternoon when he was chosen by Transportation Security Administration agents for further screening.

Asked if he had anything in his pockets, he allegedly said: "Yes, I have a bomb."

Kevin Dillon, director of Bradley International Airport at Windsor Locks, Conn., said security screening was suspended for about 25 minutes as a result of what he called the man's inappropriate comment.

Police said Rickard will face numerous criminal charges and will be held on bond to appear in Superior Court.

Troopers were also questioning his girlfriend.
