A car collided with a truck in central Minnesota over the weekend, killing a man in the smaller vehicle, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 4 p.m. Saturday at County Road 2 and 270th Avenue NE., about 8 miles west of Paynesville, according to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
David A. Mattson, 21, of Paynesville, died in the wreck, the Sheriff's Office said. His identity has yet to be released pending notification of family.
Two others in the car survived their injuries. Three people in the commercial truck were unhurt.
