The Lynx won their 13th game in a row, counting last year's playoffs, by beating San Antonio 83-79 on Sunday at Target Center.

Maya Moore and Rebekkah Brunson both scored 17 points to lead the Lynx as they improved to 7-0 and became the only unbeaten left in the WNBA. That's because Indiana, which had been 4-0, lost at previously winless New York 87-72. The Liberty had been 0-5.

Only five other WNBA teams have started 7-0 in the league's 16-year history.

Two other starters also scored in double figures for the Lynx. Lindsay Whalen had 15 points and Seimone Augustus 13.

The Lynx shot 68.8 percent in the first half and led 50-26. But the Silver Stars (2-3) rallied in the second half and got as close as 79-73 with 43 seconds left on Danielle Adams' three-pointer.

Then after Augustus missed two free throws, Adams drove the baseline and scored to make it 79-75 with 31 seconds.

With the Lynx ahead 81-79, Becky Hammon of San Antonio was fouled on a three-point shot with 1.2 seconds left. She made her first two free throws, then purposely missed the third hoping she or a teammate got the rebound.

Instead, the Silver Stars were called for a lane violation, and the Lynx got the ball on the turnover.

Brunson made two free throw with seven-tenths of a second for the final margin.
