If you are a bicyclist you get suspension for life for doping, but if you are a baseball player you just get a slap on the wrist. Where is the fairness of it all?

Oh, I see. Major League Baseball, its officials and owners make huge profits from the game and thus have a vested interest in not punishing players too harshly. I wonder what kind of a message they're sending to the public, especially the younger crowd. They say they won't tolerate doping, but their actions say otherwise. Those who are caught doping should be banished from the game. Period. No exceptions.

Thirteen players were suspended for using performance-enhancing substances. However, Alex Rodriguez is the only one who is appealing his punishment. It is a case of the tail trying to wag the dog.

One bright spot about the Twins record this year: Nobody is accusing anyone on the team of using performance-enhancing drugs.
