Michael Nesset ("Osmo's back! But look around — it doesn't mean our classical music crisis is over," May 1) suggests that seniors can "renew the audience of the music we love" by more often taking young people with them to classical music concerts. To which I say: Bravo! I want to add that there is an organization designed specifically to help. The Young People's Symphony Concert Association was created to instill in young people an appreciation of music, by introducing them to orchestral experiences both in the concert hall and in the classroom. We promote the Young People's concert series that includes busing children to Orchestra Hall from schools all over the state and beyond. You may have seen or heard of this, but being in the midst of it is fantastic. After helping to usher 2,000-plus wide-eyed kids into Orchestra Hall and sharing their wonderful excitement, it is obvious that we can make a difference. Find out more about it through the Minnesota Orchestra's website. Participation is welcome any time. But now is just perfect.
