The third and last man charged in the 2012 gang-related murder of Naressa Turner pleaded guilty Monday to his role in the case.

Dangelo Masterjohn, 23, St. Paul, pleaded guilty in Ramsey County District Court to one count of aiding an offender to avoid arrest.

Alleged East Side Boyz gang member Joseph H. Campbell, 21, was convicted in June of first-degree murder and second-degree murder for shooting Turner multiple times as she sat in a car parked in a St. Paul alley. He was sentenced to life in prison.

Prosecutors said a masked Campbell shot Turner, who was affiliated with the Selby Siders gang, on Oct. 14 in retaliation for the murder of reputed East Side Boyz member Dominic Neeley, who was killed in early 2012. Police have said the East Side Boyz have a long-running feud with the Selby Siders. Turner, 20, was once aligned with the East Side Boyz, a witness testified during Campbell's trial.

Turner's former friend and roommate testified that she spread rumors on Facebook that Turner set up Neeley's murder, which remains unsolved.

Masterjohn and Cornelius Bell, 25, of Shoreview, were charged as accomplices in Turner's death. Charges of first-degree conspiracy to commit murder and aiding an offender, accomplice after the fact were dropped against Masterjohn.

Bell pleaded guilty in July to one count of aiding an offender, accomplice after the fact. Other charges against Bell, including two counts of aiding an offender and one count of crime committed for the benefit of a gang, were dropped.

Masterjohn is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 18. Bell is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 4.
