Good morning, commuters!

It was a deadly night on I-35 north of the Twin Cities last night as a one-vehicle crash killed a 74-year-old woman from Stacy, Minn. She was riding in a vehicle that lost control, over corrected and crashed in a ditch near Stark Road in Harris, Minn. The driver, a 74-year-old man from Stacy was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, the State Patrol said.

Their names were not released.

In Roseville, I-35W is open again after it was shut down for a few hours last night. A semitrailer truck and a boat collided forcing authorities to shut down the southbound lanes at County Road C.

For drivers on Hwy. 65, the southbound lanes between 81st Avenue and Medtronic Pkwy. have reopened following construction. Work has shifted to the northbound lanes, so you'll need a new route for the trip home.

Another closure going into effect at 6 a.m. in the north metro. Hwy. 47 from County Road 63 and County Road 24 will be closed for the day. The detour is bia Cleary Road and Viking Blvd.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.
