Good morning commuters!

No rain or pestilence to slow the drive to work today, just sunny skies and lingering overnight road work in a few spots. It should be a nice day out on the roads and rails.

By 6 a.m., the ramps from I-494 to north and south 35E should open as MnDOT finishes overnight work.

A reminder that Hwy. 169 is reduced to a single lane between the Crosstown and Hwy. 7 for bridge repair. That configuration will be in place until July 15, and is expected to spread to the northbound lanes this week. For more on this project see MnDOT's construction page.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, leave a comment here, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
