Good morning, commuters!

It's brutally cold out there this morning with the temperature at minus 10 degrees and windchill readings around minus 25 degrees. Bundle up if you are taking public transit today as frostbite can set in just a few minutes.

And for those who will be driving to work or school, have that AAA card ready. These are the kind of conditions that cars don't start or stall out on the roads.

Speaking of the roads, be wary of black ice today, especially at intersections where exhaust can freeze on the pavement. So far, we have not problems on the system in terms of congestion or accidents.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
