Good morning, commuters!
It's dry now, but precipitation in the form of rain and yes, more snow, is expected to move into the metro area at some time during the morning rush hour, according to meteorologist Paul Douglas. That could slow the commute.
In the east metro, roadwork will likely slow the commute on I-94. The left lane is closed in both directions between I-694/494 and Century Avenue.
I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.
If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, leave a comment here, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
