Just Listed: Meredith Howell of Coldwell Banker Burnet recently listed this unique house on Gleason Lake, a small, but bucolic lake less than 15 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis.

The house, which is situated in a forest of 300 year-old oaks, was designed and built in the early 1980s for a couple that had recently returned from teaching in Japan. The house was designed by architect, Dewey Thorbeck and was patterned after the Golden Pavillion in Kyoto.

The house is priced at $839,000, including 262 feet of shoreline. Watch for an upcoming feature story on the house in Sunday Homes. To see more photos, go to Meredith's website.
