A man was shot to death at close range inside a car in north Minneapolis Friday night and police arrested another man in connection with the homicide.
Police received several 911 calls about 6:15 p.m. and arrived at 36th and Emerson Avenues North to find one man dead in the car and another, who was taken in for questioning, standing next to it, said Inspector Mike Kjos.
Kjos said he didn't know the nature of the two men's relationship, only that they had been in the car together when a dispute broke out, and then shots were fired along the busy route on the city's north side.
