1: Slickrock Road (Bell, Riecken)1185-1

2: Barcelona Kid (Canchari, Rengstorf)1236-1

3: T. Thomas (Butler, Rengstorf)1236-1

4: City Delivery (Olesiak, Donlin)1239-2

5: Manlee Spirit (Delorme, Peters)12320-1

6: Band of Silence (Martin, Brueggemann1232-1

7: Live a Little (Eikleberry,Tracy)1233-1

BAND OF SILENCE got involved in a match race before pulling away in the slop last out winning by over five lengths breaking his maiden. Early speed dominated this track last year and this 4-year-old could be out front as lone speed to shake loose. SLICKROCK ROAD too got his first win in the slop in a 6f sprint at Oaklawn while closing from far back. Should enjoy the stretch-out and class relief. LIVE A LITTLE circled the field and finished well to grab third at Sunland Park last out and looms a off-the-pace threat to the favorite.

2 5½ furlongs. Fillies and mares. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming $6,250. Purse: $10,000.

#: Horse, Jockey, Trainer Wt.Odds

1: Exclusive Clara (Martin, Biehler)1199-2

2: Tomorrows Moon (Keith, Biehler)1232-1

3: Foxy Lady Packin (Vergara, Lund)1236-1

4: Dusty's Wonder (Canchari, Wilson)1196-1

5: Prairie Vision (Butler, Donlin)1234-1

6: Yodelin' Angel (Eikleberry, Silva)1235-1

7: Lady's Edition (Goodwin,Pfeifer)12310-1

YODELIN' ANGEL comes off the grass cutting back in distance for trainer Silva who has decent stats in the surface change next time out. Has tactical speed to sit close before making final move. Trainer Biehler has two runners coming up from Tampa in EXCLUSIVE CLARA and TOMORROWS MOON who take slight class drop and will be major players starting from the inside posts. FOXY LADY PACKIN comes back after a six month rest and has been training well in this good betting race.

3 5½ furlongs. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming $4,000. Purse: $9,000.

#: Horse, Jockey, Trainer Wt.Odds

1: Patriate (Trimble, R.Johnson)1233-1

2: Swiss G's (Canchari, Silva)1236-1

3: Seattle Sal (Escobar, Porter)1238-1

4: Already There (Delorme,Brinson)1237-2

5: No Crossing Lane (Martin, Brueggemann)1225-1

6: Marathon Moon (Keith, Bends)1235-1

7: Backtrack (Velazquez, Scherer)1238-1

8: King of Rhythm (Goodwin, Donlin)1238-1

PATRIATE won 4-of-5 here last year in the same manner with Jockey Trimble sending this speedster hell-bent-for-election out of the gate to the front while not looking back. Slight concern is been on the shelf for over nine months with only two works coming in. Should get a nice price with SWISS G's who ships in from Golden Gate where racing is done on synthetic surface but two of his best career races have been run on dirt. ALREADY THERE will press the issue on Patriate up front for trainer Brinson who got off to a terrific start here last season and excels in the second time out off the layoff angle

4 5½ furlongs. State-bred. Fillies and mares. 3-year-olds and up. Allowance. Purse: $32,400.

#: Horse, Jockey, Trainer Wt.Odds

1: Cap and Trade (Butler, Bravo)1216-1

2: Talk About Me (Goodwin, Brinson)1215-1

3: Bleu Moon Magic (Bell, Robertson)1173-1

4: Tapitintime (Canchari,McShane)1219-2

5: Talkin Bout (Velazquez, Scherer)1217-2

6: Amazingly Karen (Trimble, Berg)1178-1

7: Somerset Ballerina (Eikleberry, Donlin)1218-1

8: Chile Win (Olesiak, Miller)12112-1

BLEU MOON MAGIC comes off the shelf for top trainer Robertson with a series of solid works and will be on or near the lead with his main jockey Bell aboard. TALK ABOUT ME won last time out here this past fall and now returns with a series of good works for trainer Brinson. TALKIN ABOUT won her career start here last season then finished for place honors in her next two starts. Should come on strong late but think this filly might be better suited for longer distance.

5 5½ furlongs. State-bred. Fillies and mares. 3-year-olds and up. Allowance. Purse: $32,400.

#: Horse, Jockey, Trainer Wt.Odds

1: Final Moment (Butler, Rhone)1216-1

2: Sultry Queen (Keith, Hanson)1178-1

3: Arctic Prairie (Goodwin, Donlin)1176-1

4: Cinder Ellie (Rivera, Oliver)12112-1

5: Dear Fay (Eikleberry, Robertson)1215-2

6: Designed to Run (Martin, Silva)12115-1

7: Sajani (Delorme, Brinson)1214-1

8: Space Opera (Velazquez, Scherer)1175-1

9: Siften Gold Nugget (Olesiak, Peters)12115-1

ARTIC PRAIRIE has a shot to steal this race up front at a decent price as possible lone speed. Has turned in two bullets preparing for this year's debut. DEAR FAY is the logical favorite but is beatable with only two average works coming in after a nine month layoff. Trust factor is a problem for me with this closer. SAJANI threw in a clunker last out at Prairie Meadows last month but was claimed by trainer Brinson who could turn things around first time out of the new barn.

6 1 mile. 3-year-olds and up. Allowance. Purse: $27,000.

#: Horse, Jockey, Trainer Wt.Odds

1: Astarforbush (Vergara,Lund)1218-1

2: Smart Promotion (Franco, Diodoro)11610-1

3: Seeking the Reward (Butler, Rengstorf)1216-1

4: Whiskey Decision (Escobar, Porter)12110-1

5: Bigdaddywarbucks (Rivera, Van Winkle)1218-1

6: Al Musaddad (Keith, Biehler)1215-1

7: Morganouska (Ochoa, Silva)1217-2

8: Big Bruin (Martin, Brueggemann)1214-1

9: Deadly Truth (Eikleberry,Tracy)1166-1

MORGANOUSKA invades from Santa Anita for the Silva barn who won at this distance two back by over six lengths in a hand ride. Expect to be sitting off the pace before making final move as the deserving favorite. AL MUSADDAD would like to see fast fractions up front for his late closing kick. Concern is that he's been running in a holding pattern in his lone two starts this 2013 campaign. BIG BRUIN has the ability to sit on or near the lead with three wins in last six starts at Hawthorne coming in.

7 Lady Slipper Stakes. 6 furlongs. State-bred. Fillies and mares. 3-year-olds and up. Purse: $50,000.

10: Gypsy Melody (Eikleberry, Robertson)1185-1

11: Ms Mustanfar (Velazquez, Bravo)11615-1

12: Rita's Cheetah (Keith, Biehler)12015-1

POLAR PLUNGE returns for the feature tonight for trainer Scherer who looks like he has his mare ready to roll with a series of good works. Ran third in this stakes race last year coming off the bench as the favorite. GYPSY MELODY will show early speed coming from the outside post but must avoid a speed duel with a field full of possible front runners. Defending champion of this race the past two years HIDDEN GOLD, could get her third gold medal with the strong chance of a possible meltdown up front. Gets Bell back aboard who won as a team 2 years back.

8 6 furlongs. Fillies and mares. 3-year-olds and up. Allowance optional claiming. Purse: $29,000.

#: Horse, Jockey, Trainer Wt.Odds

1: Second Street City (Velazquez, Scherer)1194-1

2: Bless My Halo (Eikleberry, Biehler)1193-1

3: Wine Thief (Vergara, Lund)1196-1

4: Dolly Peach (Canchari, Scherbenske)1196-1

5: Dangerous Ghost (Keith, Biehler)1198-1

6: Befuddler (Butler, Bravo)1198-1

7: La Pinot (Franco, Diodoro)1195-2

BLESS MY HALO is the class of the field shipping up from Fair Grounds where she hit the board in all four starts. Beyer speed figures towers the field and has two nice works coming in on this track. LA PINOT has four bullet drills for trainer Diodoro and has hit the board in 8-of-9 starts. Could be tough to catch if gets easy lead. WINE THIEF comes off a win in a mile turf race with good early speed and should press the pace while enjoying the cutback in distance.

9 5½ furlongs. State bred. 3-year-olds and up. Maiden special weight. Purse: $30,000.

3: Hes a Preacher (Olesiak, Wekseth)1197-2

4: Maharaja (Ochoa, Brinson)12315-1

5: Dalbo Ghost (Shaw, Berg)11915-1

6: Affirmed Cure (Velazquez, Peters)12312-1

7: De Bala (Meier, McKenzie)12312-1

8: Blumin Lucky (Delorme, Pfeifer)11910-1

9: Bing's Magic (Fackler, Robertson)1195-1

10: Bourbon County (Butler, Rhone)1198-1

Most wide open race of the evening is the nightcap. JANTZESFANCYFRIEND lone start was here last August and settled for second after grabbing early lead before weakening in final furlong. Could prove tough with early speed off the rail. BOURBON COUNTY had slow beginning in first start couple months back but should improve for the Rhone barn second time out. DE BALA has decent early speed and could be a longshot threat for first time Canterbury trainer McKenzie who does well with barn first time claiming draftees.
