The largest job fair for veterans in Minnesota will be held Tuesday as part of Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton's "Hire a Veteran Month."

Sponsored by the Department of Employment and Economic Development, the fair focuses on connecting veterans and military service members with potential employers. It is the seventh year of the fair.

In the past, from 10 percent to 15 percent of those attending have found a job on the spot, state officials said.

Participants can have their resume professionally reviewed and be provided online job search tools. Workshops include job-searching skills and the basics of starting a business.

The fair is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center. More information can be found at www.PositivelyMinnesota.com/vetsfair.
