BOGOTA, Colombia — Croatia's Ivo Karlovic won the Claro Open Colombia on Sunday, spoiling hometown favorite Alejandro Falla's bid for his first ATP Tour title.
The 34-year-old Karlovic, the tallest player on tour at 6-foot-10, beat Falla 6-3, 7-6 (4) on the hard court at Centro de Alto Rendimiento for his fifth career title. Karlovic missed three months this season because of viral meningitis, returning this month at Newport.
