Would the Wolves give up one of their three point guards for the shooting guard they need?

The web site Hoopsrumors.com has decreed them the front runner in any potential deal for Jamal Crawford of Portland. The Blazers are said to want a first-round pick in addition to Luke Ridnour, who played his college ball for Oregon, as part of the deal as well. Crawford is averaging 14.3 points per game this season, about one point below his average during his 11-year career. He's also a career 35 percent three-point shooter, but is shooting only 40 percent from the floor.

Here's the full report.

Here are Crawford's stats.

Three questions:

1. Is Crawford enough of an upgrade for the Wolves to trade Ridnour?

2. Should the Wolves make themselves skinnier at point guard, considering J.J. Barea's injury issues and Ricky Rubio's rookie status?

3. Is this a deal you would make?
