Hundreds of people attended the Minnesota Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ceremony at the monument near the State Capitol on Sunday afternoon in St. Paul. Near the end of the ceremony, after the solemn tolling of the bell to honor the state's fallen firefighters, white doves were released. The memorial was dedicated a year ago. Additional photos from Sunday's ceremony are at startribune.com/galleries.
