A 26-year-old man who suffered head injuries when he crashed his ATV near his home in Dakota County has died, authorities said Monday.
Isaac J. Lucking, of Vermillion Township, died Friday at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Shortly after 5 p.m. on July 4, Lucking was riding on 180th Street, east of Goodwin Avenue, when he lost control of his ATV and crashed, the Sheriff's Office said.
He was not wearing a helmet, authorities added.
A fellow ATV rider was behind Lucking and saw the crash but avoided the wreckage.
