Gunfire from outside pierced a patio door to a New Hope apartment, striking a man in the leg while he was in his living room, authorities said Tuesday.
The man, in his mid-50s, was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with what police described as noncritical injuries Monday night.
The shooting occurred about 10:45 p.m. at the Crystal Towers apartments in the 5700 block of Quebec Avenue N.
No arrests have been made.
Police Capt. Scott Slawson said "we don't know" yet whether the man in the ground-level apartment was an intended target of the gunfire.
