OFFENSIVE MVP: James White, Wisconsin

Teammate Montee Ball (24 carries, 166 yards, two TDs) was almost as good, but White did his damage earlier when the game was still in doubt. The less-heralded Badgers back rushed 15 times for 175 yards and three scores to lead an offense that piled up 337 yards on the ground Saturday.

DEFENSIVE MVP: Mike Taylor, Wisconsin

The linebacker wasn't flashy, but he finished with 12 tackles -- three more than anyone else on either team -- including one for a loss. He was part of a unit that held the Gophers in check in the first half, giving the Badgers time to get their running offense in full gear.
