wolves gameday

7 p.m. at milwaukee • bradley center • fsn plus, 830-am

Preview: The Bucks thumped Charlotte 131-102 Monday at home after they had lost four of five games. At 36-37, they are firmly in position for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and trail seventh-place Boston by 1.5 games. … The Wolves beat the Bucks 95-85 at Target Center in the season's first meeting between the teams, on Nov. 30. But they've lost seven of their past eight games in Milwaukee.

Players to watch: It's not very often the Wolves' starting backcourt faces one that's their own size, but it happens with a Bucks pairing of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis. Together, they are averaging 37.1 points a game.

Injuries: Wolves F Kevin Love (hand surgery), G Brandon Roy (knees) and G Malcolm Lee (hip, knee surgeries) are out. Bucks F Luc Mbah a Moute (illness) is questionable.
