It is 2-1-1 on the current five-game homestand and opens a three-game road trip in Chicago on Tuesday. The Wild has lost consecutive games (0-1-1) for the first time since Jan. 19-20. The Jets, playing without suspended Dustin Byfuglien, are in ninth place in the Western Conference and four points behind Minnesota. They have won seven of their past 10.

Players to watch: G Devan Dubnyk will start his 38th consecutive game. He has lost two in a row for the first time with the Wild (he had a no-decision in the Wild's only other two-game losing streak under him). Jets RW Blake Wheeler has scored 25 goals, tied for second among Minnesota-born NHLers behind Wild LW Zach Parise (32 goals). LW Thomas Vanek has eight goals the past 13 games. Forwards Andrew Ladd and Bryan Little each have 24 goals. Ladd scored the overtime winner last time Winnipeg was in Minnesota on Dec. 27.

Numbers: The Wild is 12-4-5 all-time vs. the Jets/Atlanta Thrashers and 6-2-3 since Atlanta's move to Winnipeg. The Wild is 3-0-2 at home against the Jets and 2-0-2 against them overall this season. … Since Feb. 22 (20 games), the Wild leads the NHL with 29 third-period goals and has allowed a league-low eight third-period goals.

Injuries: Wild C Mikko Koivu (scratched cornea), who is one point from his 500th career point, is expected to play. LW Jason Zucker (collarbone), LW Matt Cooke (sports hernia) and D Keith Ballard (concussion) are out. Jets D Tobias Enstrom (lower body) and D Paul Postma (lower body) are day-to-day. D Grant Clitsome (back) is out.
