wolves gameday

6 p.m. VS. SACRAMENTO • TARGET CENTER • FSN, 830-AM

Preview: The Kings end a seven-game road trip at Target Center after going 2-3 on it entering Saturday's game at Chicago. They were 23-42 heading into Chicago and had lost six of their past nine, including a 108-97 defeat to the Wolves in Sacramento two weeks ago. …This is the third of four meetings between the teams this season. They split the first two, with the Kings winning at Target Center in January and the Wolves doing the same in Sacramento on March 1. They complete the series at Sacramento on April 13. … The Kings recalled Minneapolis' Royce White from the D-League on Thursday, but he is not on the trip and will join the team when it returns home for a Tuesday game against Washington. … Wolves center Nikola Pekovic left Friday's 105-93 loss at Charlotte early in the second half because of that right ankle that caused him to miss basically the month of February. His status is uncertain for Sunday's game.

Players to watch: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins scored 20 or more in five of his past seven games before Saturday and had double-double games in points and rebounds in six of those seven. He leads his team in scoring (22 ppg), rebounding (11.7), blocked shots (1.3) AND steals (1.48).

Injuries: Wolves C Ronny Turiaf (knee bone bruise) is out and Pekovic (ankle/foot) is questionable. Kings veterans F Carl Landry and G Jason Terry are both out for the rest of the season because of knee injuries.
