Gophers at a glance: After a 2-0 start to the year, the Gophers head to Richmond for their first road game of the season. G Andre Hollins leads them in scoring through the first two games with 42 points, while F Elliott Eliason leads in rebounds with 25. … Austin Hollins recorded his first career double-double Tuesday night against Montana, collecting 10 rebounds to go with 11 points. The guard has 17 rebounds in two games. … C Mo Walker will be out serving the third game of a six-game suspension. … Through two games, the Gophers' assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.65 is down substantially from a year ago.

Richmond at a glance: A pair of dynamic seniors lead a team that lost in the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Invitational last season. Cedrick Lindsay, perhaps one of the best point guards in the nation, should do plenty to keep Gophers guards Andre Hollins and DeAndre Mathieu busy. In home victories over Delaware and Belmont, Lindsay has led the team with 17.5 points a game. Derrick Williams, who missed a month last season because of ankle injuries, is back and healthy, and he should help stabilize a frontcourt that will be much more experienced this season. … One thing Richmond has not done well early on is shoot three-pointers. The Spiders have made only 15 percent of their attempts from long range. A year ago, Richmond shot 37.7 percent from beyond the arc.
