No. 10 Edina stopped a two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter to hold off No. 3 Maple Grove 21-20 on Friday night in Edina. Brad Davison scored on a 9-yard run to set up the game-winning attempt. However, Andy Peterson was stopped on the try after the snap was fumbled.

Brock Boltmann scored a pair of touchdowns and Parker Rickert returned the second-half opening kickoff for a score to lead the Hornets. Boltmann scored the only points of the first half on a 1-yard touchdown run. He added another 1-yard scoring run late in the third quarter.

Davison finished with two rushing touchdown and threw for another. Davison started the Crimson's comeback attempt with a 30-yard scoring run early in the fourth quarter.

Chanhassen 20, Waconia 16: Alex Spillum connected with Tom Loeffler with 4 minutes, 30 seconds to play for the eventual game-winning touchdown for the Class 5A, No. 7 Storm. The No. 15 Wildcats had a brief lead early in the fourth quarter on Wyatt Schmitt's third field goal of the game. The visiting Storm defense stopped the Wildcats twice in the final minutes.

Fridley 19, St. Paul Central 13: Jonathan Arzola returned a punt 55 yards to lift the visiting Tigers past the Minutemen. The Tigers scored 13 points off of three Minutemen turnovers, including an interception return for a touchdown by Nate Soto as time expired in the first half. Xavier Davis led the Minutemen with two rushing touchdowns. The Minutemen got as close as the Tigers' 30-yard line in the final minute, but turned the ball over on downs.

South St. Paul 14, Simley 13: Trevor Oberg made a tackle for a loss and an interception to seal the victory for the visiting Packers with 1:35 left. Ryan Duffy scored twice to erase a 13-0 fourth quarter deficit for the Packers. The Spartans converted a pair of turnovers into points. Josh Halloran threw a touchdown pass and ran for a touchdown for the Spartans.

Apple Valley 27, Farmington 26: Noah Sanders connected with Mario Lewis on a 13-yard touchdown pass with 39 seconds remaining to cap the host Eagles' fourth quarter rally. The Tigers scored 26 straight points on two kickoff return touchdowns by Xander Hall and two touchdowns by Kole Hinrichsen. Sanders started the Eagles' rally with a 14-yard scoring pass to Nathan Macho with 5:05 left.

Prior Lake 25, Wayzata 14: The Lakers scored 16 points in the fourth quarter to rally past the host Trojans. Jordan Johnson scored two touchdowns and Alex Brennan made a 36-yard field goal to lead the Lakers comeback. Alec Underhill and Deshawn Cockrell scored for the Trojans. Preston Jelen scored the first touchdown for the Lakers.

Cretin-Derham Hall 42, Stillwater 21: Terrance Nash ran for 94 yards and three touchdowns to lead the visiting Raiders past the Class 6A, No. 9 Ponies. Jackson Crawford had a touchdown run and threw another for the No. 7 Raiders. Grayson Hosch threw for two touchdowns and ran for one for the Ponies.

Annandale 27, Glencoe-Silver Lake 20: Derek Tomberlin threw for two touchdowns and ran for one to lift the host Cardinals past the Panthers. Austin Mealey caught both scoring passes, including a 98-yard grab. Tomberlin scored on a 12-yard run to put the Cardinals ahead for good.
