Fall is here and as any "hop head" knows, this means it's time for the annual Town Hall Fresh Hop release. Fresh or wet hop beers are special in that freshly harvested wet hops are used to make the beer instead of the dried variety that is typically used. These beers are designed for hop lovers (the style is usually a Pale Ale or an IPA) and never seem to disappoint.

On Monday the Town Hall Brewery began Fresh Hop Week (10/10 through 10/14) by releasing their version called Fresh Hop 100 (made with Chinook hops) selling out of growlers in the first 8 hours! They are also featuring a guest list of fresh/wet hop beers from Founders, Surly, Two Brothers, Deschutes, and Lift Bridge. These are all available by the pint or you can choose a "flight" which currently contains samples of Town Hall 100 Fresh Hop, Surly Wet (a local favorite), Sierra Nevada Estate, Deschutes Fresh Hop Mirror Pond, and Two Brothers Heavy Handed.

Make sure to get there by Friday so you don't miss out on these incredible varieties, after all they are only available once a year. Cheers!
