Four freshmen on the North Dakota hockey team will appear in court on Oct. 30 after being cited for underage drinking.

The charges stem from a team party on Sept. 15. Authorities got involved after a call for medical assistance. Drake Caggiula, one of the freshman, was taken to a hospital for possible alcohol poisoning.

The other freshmen facing charges are Jordan Schmaltz, Bryn Chyzyk and Zane Gothberg, a Minnesotan. Gothberg is a highly touted goalie from Thief River Falls.
