Five people were seriously hurt in a high-impact collision on St. Paul's East Side Wednesday night, police said.
No fatalities were reported by 10:30 p.m., but at least one of the people had especially severe injuries, said St. Paul Police Watch Commander Josh Lego.
The injured were taken Regions Hospital in St. Paul following the 8:45 p.m. crash involving three cars at E. Maryland Avenue and Johnson Parkway.
