'Medusa' with extra fire
After a successful run at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, Vox Medusa and Infiammati FireCircus are ready to wow audiences again with fire, dance and music at Minneapolis' Boom Island Park. The two troupes joined forces this summer for a retelling of "Medusa," the familiar Greek myth about a beautiful maiden who transforms into a snake-haired monster whose very eyes can turn men to stone. Underscored by electronic music and live vocalists, the story comes to life once more with Vox Medusa's contemporary flair and Infiammati's pageantry of fire tricks.
