A final roster move for the Lynx has not yet been made, but it's close. I would expect it would come late this afternoon. After today's practice finished up, coach Cheryl Reeve, assistants Shelley Patterson and Jim Petersen and executive vice president Roger Griffith met for quite a while to discuss that final cut. Here's what Reeve had to say afterward:

--"Just trying to nail down the final spot," she said. "The pros of this direction, that direction. The pros of neither direction and going a third route. Trying to get consensus on what we're doing."

Translated? What Reeve was saying is the team is trying to decide to go with Tricia Liston with the final spot, go with Waltiea Rolle with the final spot, or waiting to see what the waiver wire has available this afternoon.

But the decision will be made today; Reeve wants to have her final roster practice Thursday before the team heads to Washington for Friday's season opener.

Meanwhile, Reeve also said she hasn't definitely decided who will be the fifth starter for that Washington game. Brazilian rookie Damiris Dantas has worked with the first team the past two days, but she's not a lock. Asia Taylor has done a good job when given the chance, too, and Reeve could also opt for a smaller lineup that has Maya Moore at the power forward position.

That's about it for now. I'll get back to you after the final move is made.
