The FBI's Minneapolis office is asking for help from the public in gathering information about the stabbing attack last weekend at the Crossroads Center Mall in St. Cloud.

"Specifically, the FBI asks any person who was present ... during the evening of September 17th to contact the FBI with any information or cellphone video which they may possess," the FBI said in a news release. "This information is vital to the thorough review and analysis of the incident." Anyone with such information is asked to call 1-800-CALLFBI.

Dahir Adan, 20, was fatally shot by an off-duty police officer that Saturday night after he stabbed and injured 10 people. Authorities are working to ascertain whether Adan, a Somali refugee who moved to the United States with his family when he was a baby, acted alone or had any connection to foreign terrorist groups.

St. Cloud Police Chief William Blair Anderson said Monday that investigators have yet to find evidence that Adan was radicalized or communicated with a terrorist group or acted with others.
