The judges noted that "Sack successfully harnessed all the cartoonist's tools — caricature, composition, biting wit and solid journalism — in his impressive portfolio." The Overseas Press Club of America is a New York City-based international association that works to encourage quality journalism and to promote international press freedom and the well-being of colleagues in the field.
