An Edina motorist was nabbed late at night near a well-traveled Edina intersection driving with a blood alcohol level many times over the legal limit, authorities said.

The 48-year-old woman was pulled over about 12:30 a.m. Saturday on northbound France Avenue, north of the Crosstown Hwy., after the officer saw a burned-out taillight, no signal while changing lanes and straying out of the lane, police said.

The driver's blood alcohol content was measured at 0.31 percent, police said. Police on their Twitter account commented, "Think of others on the road with you next time." Included was the line #JailBedsRock.

The woman remains jailed with a court appearance Monday morning. While the woman has a handful of traffic violations on her record, this is her first drunken-driving citation in Minnesota, according to court records.
