Sun BioPharma, Inc., Waconia, has proposed a 1-for-10 reverse stock split. The board of directors authorized the split July 17 and is seeking shareholder approval.

Xcel Energy elects new director
Xcel Energy Inc., Minneapolis, announced that it has elected David Owens to its board of directors effective immediately. Owens recently retired as an executive vice president from the Edison Electric Institute, an association for investor-owned utilities.
Polaris elects new director
Polaris Industries Inc., Medina, announced that it has elected George Bilicic to serve as a director. Bilicic is vice chairman of investment banking, head of Midwest investment banking and global head of power, energy and infrastructure at Lazard. The size of the Polaris board increases from eight to nine members with the election of Bilicic.
Donaldson hires global OEM sales director
Donaldson Co. Inc., Bloomington, has hired Jacquie Boyer as vice president of global OEM sales. She has more than 25 years experience in sales and other leadership positions, most recently at Stanadyne LLC. She will report to Tom Scalf, senior vice president of Engine Products.
