Sleep Number officially changes name
Sleep Number Corp., Minneapolis, announced Wednesday that its corporate name and ticker symbol has officially changed. Formerly known as Select Comfort Corp. the ticker symbol has changed from SCSS to SNBR. The company also filed its change of address. Most recently based in Plymouth, the new corporate address is 1001 Third Av. S., Minneapolis 55404.

Columbia Threadneedle completes deal
Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Boston, the global asset management group of Minneapolis-based Ameriprise Financial, announced that it completed the previously announced acquisition of Lionstone Partners Ltd. Houston-based Lionstone is a data-analytics driven real estate investment firm with more than $6 billion in assets. Threadneedle manages $484 billion in assets. Terms of the deal were not announced.

Land O'Lakes announces Q3 results
Land O'Lakes, Arden Hills, earned $47.5 million in its third quarter ended Sept. 30. Earnings increased 484 percent from the $8.1 million earned in the third quarter of 2016. Revenue for the third quarter of 2017 and 2016 was $2.8 billion. Revenue for the first three quarters of 2017 was $10.2 billion, up from $9.97 billion in the same period a year ago.
