Here are three thoughts following the Twins 4-0 win over the Brewers:

BARTOLO THE GREAT: Watching Bartolo Colon go 0-3 was the most entertaining thing about tonight. I said three different times, "he's going to pull a muscle," after his vicious hacks. He makes up his mind to stand there and look at pitches or to take a shot at a big blast. ""He's got a plan," Molitor said. "I don't know if I understand it, but he's got a plan." His plan on the mound is definitely working. I mentioned to Molitor that it looked like Brewers hitters were looking for first pitch fastballs, and if they didn't get one, they were confused for the rest of the at bat. "He's had a really good feel lately of how to make pitches and what guys are looking for and how to counteract that," Molitor said.

VARGAS MUST BE CRUSHED: One game. One at bat. That's how long Kennys Vargas' most recent visit to the majors lasted. He fouled out in the pinch hit appearance in the eighth inning. He was sent down for the FOURTH time this season. While he's played himself onto the bubble of the 25-man roster, the up and down action has to be killing him. Byron Buxton was going to reach out to him once he got back to the team hotel. A lot of teammates feel bad for him.

DIETRICH ENNS IS COMING: The way the Twins will end their search for a starter on Sunday is push Kyle Gibson, Jose Berrios and Ervin Santana back one day and start rookie Dietrich Enns on Thursday. Interesting move, because they could have pushed Enns back, giving Dillon Gee enough time to be ready as a long man if needed. Of they could have just started Gee. But the Twins will get to see the 31st different pitcher appear in a game for them. That adds on to their club record. "Makeup wise, we hear really good things," Molitor said. "Poise, mound presence. All those things you want to hear about a kid trying to get to the big leagues." I'll have more on Enns tomorrow.
