Greetings. Youngblood here, with Russo off. Michael will return to action along with the Wild tomorrow.

There was a little news, or at least the potential for news, to come out of the Wild's practice at St. Thomas Academy Saturday morning.

Winger Cal Clutterbuck wasn't there.

After practice ended Wild coach Todd Richards said Clutterbuck was being re-evaluated by a doctor for an upper body injury. Richards had no more specifics than that. He didn't say whether he was worried about perhaps not having Clutterbuck for tomorrow's game against Buffalo. He didn't get more specific than to say the injury was above the waist.

But you have to wonder, is it concussion-related. Clutterbuck took a big hit to the head from the New York Islanders' Trevor Gillies Wednesday night. He told Russo the next day that he didn't "feel 100 percent'."

Did the hit -- which earned Gillies a 10-game suspension -- give Clutterbuck a concussion. Sometimes symptoms of a concussion come up well after the hit. That was the case with Antti Miettinen earlier this season after he was hit by Los Angeles' Dustin Brown.

"It's just an upper body injury," Richards said. "He's getting re-evaluated today, and I have no idea if it's serious or not. all I can tell you is he want' out there today."

In other news:

--Winger Chuck Kobasew, who had to miss the Wild's two-game road trip due to illness, is OK and was back at practice Saturday. He could get back into the lineup should Clutterbuck not be able to play.

--Richards said Mikko Koivu's most recent meeting with the doctor about his broken finger was a positive one. But, Richards said, no timetable has been set for Koivu's return. "He's still probably at least a week away," he said.

--Defenseman Greg Zanon missed the practice while tending to a personal matter. He will play Sunday.

--Gui Latendresse was back at practice Saturday and he looked good. But don't expect his return any time soon. Defenseman Cam Barker (upper body) is also available to play Sunday, Richards said.
