U.S. Bank, Minneapolis, named Terry Sandven chief equity strategist, wealth management. Sandven previously was head of product management at Piper Jaffray & Co. He is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead and received his master's degree from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.

Anchor Bank, St. Paul, named Rodney Weck director of personal banking. Weck previously was Minneapolis metro district manager at Wells Fargo.

Bell State Bank & Trust named Julie Lovaas senior vice president and business banker. Lovass is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and received her master's degree from the University of St. Thomas.

Bremer Bank named Matthew Maslowski market manager of two Minneapolis locations. Maslowski previously was a branch manager for U.S. Bank and currently serves on the Minneapolis Development Finance Committee.

Moving up

Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer, Bloomington, elected Jason Marvin a member owner and to the board of governors. Marvin has been with the accounting firm for his career, with interruptions due to two National Guard tours.

Barlow Research Associates, Golden Valley, named Joe Pike chief technical officer. Pike will be responsible for deploying and managing technology. He joined the firm in 2002.

Awards

IndustryWeek named Scott Crump to the Manufacturing Hall of Fame. Crump invented fused deposition modeling used in 3-D printing and is founder and chairman of Stratasys.

Minnesota Lodging Association named Mitch Peterson to the Minnesota Hospitality Hall of Fame. Peterson is president of Torgerson Properties and started as director of sales for Holiday Inn-Austin in 1988.

The St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce gave Robert Senkler, chairman and chief executive of Securian Financial Group, its 2012 Legacy of Leadership award.
